Club Doncaster Sports College are delighted to announce a 100% pass rate across all qualifications this year.
112 students, aged 16-19, contributed to the results which capped another exceptional year for the Sports College based at the Club Doncaster Sports Village.
Many of the Level 3 BTEC Sports Coaching and Development graduates will progress onto university with the College, continuing their studies at the stadium with specialist sports degrees, run in partnership with University Campus Doncaster.

Principal, Adi Turnpenny said “We are absolutely delighted with the results which reflect the hard work of all the students.
“It is another outstanding year for the College, of which, our incredible staff are extremely proud.
“The College continues to produce outstanding results with year-on-year trends above national averages and fantastic progression outcomes for students.”
“I’d like to wish all graduates the best of luck in the future, and we look forward to welcoming our new students and those returning to us in September.”
Alongside their studies, students have had some great experiences including; an outward-bound residential trip to Grinton in North Yorkshire as part of the Elevate programme, educational visits to Ice Sheffield and the National Football Museum in Manchester, as well as a number of guest speakers visiting the College including Premier League referee Darren England.

A highlight of the year was the Men’s first team winning their EFL CEFA (Community Education Football Alliance) League and receiving their trophy at Wembley Stadium before the League 1 play-off final.
Graduating student Emily Wilton said, “I have really enjoyed my two years at the Sports College and all of the opportunities and experiences both in the classroom and on the pitch.
“These have provided me with the foundations to achieve my final grade of D*D*D*.
“In September I am looking forward to studying Sport, Health and Exercise Science at University Campus Doncaster and continuing my studies at the stadium.”
Alongside all academic programmes, students have the opportunity to represent Doncaster Rovers FC and Doncaster Rovers Belles FC in approved EFL Leagues, gain experiences with the Dons RLFC, and enjoy a host of other sports.
